Below is a short summary of our beliefs. A full document of our Statement of Faith is available on our Welcome Table at the rear of our auditorium for anyone to pick up.

GOD – There is one true and living God, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Son became flesh through the virgin birth for the purpose of revealing God to mankind and to become the Savior of this lost world.

THE BIBLE – The Bible was written by men who were supernaturally inspired by God and therefore it is without error.

CREATION - The earth was created according to the Genesis account, which is to be interpreted literally rather than allegorically or figuratively.

MANKIND – Mankind was created innocent and in the image of God for fellowship with Him, but became alienated through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot have a right relationship with God until that sin is dealt with. Incapable of coming back to God by his own effort, man needs a Savior.

JESUS CHRIST – Jesus Christ is that Savior. He is the Son of God and is without sin (see “GOD” above). Jesus provides the only basis for forgiveness of sins by paying the sin debt with His own shed blood and death on the cross. Salvation occurs only when a person puts his/her faith and trust in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus as sufficient payment for their sin.

THE CHURCH – The Church is a local assembly of baptized believers with Jesus Christ as the Head. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to a lost world. Its members should challenge and encourage one another to live to honor Christ by obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Holy Spirit.

BAPTISM – Baptism is a believer’s immersion in water, symbolizing the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, as well as the emergence of the “new man” to walk in newness of life.
